'The Pit' in Bowling Green is a beautiful setting for lacrosse with its Kentucky bluegrass field and a game time temp of 70 and sunny, it couldn't have been a better night. To top things off, the Purples were incredible hosts with a postgame BBQ spread.

On the field, Issaquah got off to a hot start and rebounded well from the previous night's beat down. Max Dahlquist took just 43 seconds to break his Spring break slump. Gaje Gunter went 6 for 6 on faceoffs in the first quarter as Issaquah owned possession. Gunter scored the last of the quarter himself straight from a faceoff with just 7.8 seconds left.

By halftime, Gunter, Matt Moss, and Ben Aliabadi had each scored twice while Jared Humenny posted a quartet.

Bryce McIntosh and Logan Powell each came close to scoring their career first goals in the 2nd half, but that was about the only thing that didn't work out for Issaquah on this night. Griffin Fish and Colby Andersen would each add two as well before the night was over.

Issaquah record: 2-6-0
