Jump & Choreography Clinics

I/WSA Figure Skating Director Pieter Kollen and Pairs Director Serguei Zaitsev and Choreographer/Coach Elena Zaitsev offer 2-day Jump/Choreography Clinics.
The jump curriculum will include on-ice instruction, lectures, and videotaping. The primary focus will be:
Strengthening take off
Creating a vertical axis
Accelerating rotation speed
Controlling landings
The choreography curriculum will include:
Development of creative potential movement
Invention and creation of new images in shape
Relation of movement to music
Theme and development
Performance projection and presentation
Coaches are welcome. Enrollment is limited.
