MIDDLE SCHOOL LACROSSE CLINIC begins on Thursday, June 30, 2011 from 5:30-7:00pm. The clinic plays one night a week (Thursday nights from 5:30-7:00pm), and the last scheduled night is Thursday, July 28th. Clinic play consists of roughly 45 minutes of lacrosse instruction followed by game competition. The 2011 Middle School Lacrosse Clinic is being run by Brandon Faubert who just finished his senior season at Stevens Institute of Technology. Brandon was named a 2011 USILA All-American for his efforts as a midfielder, leading the Ducks into the 2nd round of the Division III NCAA tournament. He is also a graduate of Cape Henry Collegiate School, where he was named a US Lacrosse All-American as a senior (the 4th player in program history to be named All-American). Brandon and the clinic staff will focus on fundamental skill development for experienced and beginning players, and we will build upon skills each week. Those skills will then be put to use in appropriate competitions. Please check the schedule regularly over the course of the summer because weather cancellations are a reality. We will make every attempt to reschedule all canceled games accordingly. All players are required to provide their own equipment: reversible jersey, helmet, gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, mouthguard and stick. |
