Description	(Information updated as of March 12th, 2009) Registration Cost - $10 for Academy T-Shirt at registration – (Online registration will be available on JLYSSL Website in January ) - Free - JLYSSL league pays for the Coaching Instructors in this introductory year Calendar and Program have been update due to lack of field resources and to accommodate JLYSSL Clubs with U6-U8 programs. (Updated Mar 12th, 2009) Calendar (6-8 Week Program) - March –May - Starts Mar 23rd and Ends May 18th - Academy Dates - March 23, 30, April 6, 13,20, 27, May 4, 11, 18 Training Structure 1 trainings a week – 1 hour and 15 minutes per session Monday ONLY 4:15 pm – 5:430 pm (All groups combined) – Central Location – (Hornet Field in Alameda) Wednesday - None (due to lack of field resources) Tournaments - Not on weekends (to not conflict w/ U6-U8 Club programs) 3 Academy / Street Soccer 4v4 Tournaments (small-sided games) Open to all Academy players only – groups will be divided into age-appropriate teams Academy Steet Soccer Dates (incorporated in Monday's event) April 6th, 27th, May 18th Coaching Staff Academy Coaching Directors U6 Academy Coach Instructors U8 Academy Coach Instructors Coaching Staff – Training Schedule Monday : Academy Directors lead session with U6 and U8 Academy Coaches supporting Wednesday: NA Street Soccer Dates – Academy Coaching Directors, U6 and U8 Academy Instructors and coaches working together Glenn Van Straatum, who is JLYSSL Coaching Coordinator and Director of Coaching for Bay Oaks will oversee the program on behalf of the JLYSSL league.
