From a fan's point of view this was a great game for ball movement and scoring!
Mount Si completely controlled the first 5 minutes. Issaquah made every defensive stand but just couldn't clear the ball and eventually the Wildcats broke through. Issaquah immediately responded and despite having none of the ball, put three in pretty quick to take a 3-1 lead. Mount Si's turn as they capitalized off a failed clear and rode the momentum to score three unanswered of their own to take the one goal lead at the quarter.
More of the same in the second quarter as Mount Si had better offensive possessions but Issaquah capitalized Man-Up and in transition to keep it even. Game turned big time inside the final two minutes. Issaquah possession and a good look to take the lead, but Mt Si cleared and proceeded to score 3 goals in the final 1:20 of the half to take all the momentum.
Issaquah looked beat up in the 3rd quarter as the Wildcats continued to pull way. Issaquah showed some fight in the 4th quarter but far too late. Hats off to Mount Si.
