Naturals Notes:
As usual, weekday baseball turns out to be a weird game.
GGA held its' own after the rainy weather and good field conditions had AAA baseball in action instead of regular Friday practice.
Naturals jumped out to a 7-1 lead early, but the RedWings patience at the plate and a rip single by Winston put a 5 spot on the board in the 3rd and then they tacked on another 2 in the 4th to take a 1 run lead, 8-7 after 4 full. HarlanJ kept it close in the meat of the game for the wings throwing 3 solid innings from the artificial turf of GGA.
Naturals bats rallied hard in the 5th and put up a 5 spot of their own, highlighted by Vern's double and an inning ending single by EJ. That was it, as ZachJ closed out the wings, on 12 pitches and 3 K's.
