Naturals Notes:
Perfect evening for baseball at the BCC. And on a Monday?
RockHounds came out firing from the hill and the plate early. NickA struck out the side in the first and the Hounds put some big swings on the ball, capped by Kuba's double to deep center and put a 3 spot up in the bottom of the 1st.
Mosquito settled down and smiled his way through the next set of batters on his sway to 6 K's out of the final 7 batters faced, with the 7th going 3 unassisted.
Naturals put 2 runners on in the 2nd and Hoops cleared the bases with a double to right, and then stole home to put the Naturals up 4-3. Good pitching by both teams kept the middle innings tight, until the Naturals put up 4 in the 5th and again in the 6th. Highlight: bases loaded bunt by Tomato Can! (on the chalk!)
