Broncos (Achacoso-Red) Notes:
The Broncos played great defense and kept pace with the Lightning, who made 4 free throws to begin the game. Ariannah Riley made several steals and blocked passes. On offense, Taylor Yiu did a great job running point for the first time this season. Faith Ottaviano scored a basket in the 2nd quarter, with an assist from Autumn Spikes. In the 4th quarter, the Broncos tried to mount a comeback, putting up 10 field goal attempts, including 3 by Mia Troncoso. Nothing was falling in, but Ottaviano and Spikes both went to the foul line and each made 1 of 2 free throws. Unfortunately, the 4 points from the Lightning at the beginning of the game would prove to be the difference, with the Lightning winning the game 9-5.
