The Broncos gave a great defensive effort but it was not enough to contain the Knights, who held the Broncos' offense in check and scoreless after 2 quarters, leading 7-0 at halftime. In the first half of the 3rd quarter, Waverley Achacoso scored 2 baskets to pull the Broncos within 5 points by the middle of the 3rd quarter. Achacoso was fouled while shooting in the 4th quarter and sank both free throws, but that was all the points the Knights would allow. The Knights were able apply good defensive pressure on the Broncos for the rest of the game and pull out the win, 16-6.
