The Broncos led for most of the game, paced with baskets from Autumn Spikes and Faith Ottaviano, including an assist from Mickey Worrede. The Angry Birds came back and took the lead 8-6 with less than 3 minutes to go in the 4th quarter, and then went up by 3 by making 1 of 2 foul shots. The Broncos still had a chance to win when Waverley Achacoso hit a jumper with less than 30 seconds left in the game.
