Stadium certainly came ready to play as several of them flew around the field looking to make plays and extend their season. Kevin Park certainly deserves a nod as an All-State long pole.
Issaquah came out flat and seemed content to go through the motions, playing without any true urgency early. They finally broke the ice late in the first quarter capitalizing on a man-up opportunity.
Stadium had the better part of play most of the second quarter and tied the game at 2 with under 3 minutes to play in the half before Issaquah finally showed some pep and a late Pennington to Fritz goal gave Issaquah momentum into halftime.
Coming out in the 2nd half, Issaquah changed it's offensive set and started creating several better scoring chances. Five goals in the quarter saw Issaquah extend to a 9-3 lead.
In the 4th quarter, Issaquah simply wore down the Tigers and ran away with it.
Austin Richert won several groundballs in the defensive midfield and provided a much needed spark with his efforts. Away Notes: Stadium held Issaquah scoreless until 2:10 in the first and held them to a score of 4-2 going into half. Lack of subs and great ball control allowed Issaquah to take control and pull away with the game.
Good Luck to Issaquah the rest of the way.
