A high scoring back and forth match. Northshore was led by Taylor Wisman with a season high 9 goals and 3 assists, followed by Foster Wisman with 5 goals, and Bowen Hadley with 1 goal and 4 assists.
The stars for Overlake were faceoff man Devon Schmidt with 14 ground balls, attackman George Dolack who was able to roll past defenders to score 8 times, and strong shooting by Sky Tweedie-Yates from a few steps further out to score 4 times.
Goals were raining in on both sides all night; there were 7 back and forth goals in the last 1 minute 41 seconds of the 3rd period. The 4th started out with a 3 minute NR stick penalty on Overlake but Northshore could not convert. More goals brought it to a 15-15 tie with 4:44 to go.
Scott Barclay pulled the trigger for the first time at 1:11 to go on a feed from Bowen Hadley to ice it for Northshore.
