The 2002 Marlins start defense of their regular season crown on April 7, 2002. Led by manager Ed Kleinhans and assistant coaches Ajai Pillai and Nick Cawthon, the 2002 Marlins promise to be fundamentally sound and exciting.
Ed Kleinhans returns for his fifth season as manager of the Marlins and sixth year as a NOLL seniors coach. Ajai Pillai returns for his second season with the Marlins and former NOLLer Nick Cawthon starts his first season with the Marlins.
The 2002 Marlins return Safe, B-Hought, Brett H, DT, Skylar and Slick from their 2001 championship team. Newcomers Greg B., S-Dubb, Zach V., Hox, Shaq-Daddy, Panger and Peter P. join the tradition and hope to carry the Marlins to their third TOC bid over the past four years.
Come out and support the 2002 Marlins!

No league summary available Away Notes: Pels start strong, with 4 in the first, but couldn't hold the lead. MSussman came in to relieve, and pitched virtually a complete game, holding the Marlins to single runs in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th.
Big hits by ABracewell, IMurphy, SRevelli and LDiller bode well for the Pelicans' future!
Pelicans record: 3-12-0
