The Rangers' sterling defense carried them to their 5th straight win and (with some help from the Orioles, who played the role of spoiler) the crown of SOLL regular season champions. JacobC earned the win with 4 shutout innings, giving up only 2 hits. AlexR made a fine pitching debut and
MattL was strong as the closer. The three Ranger hurlers helped themselves at the plate; MattL (3 for 4, double, 2 runs, RBI), AlexR (2 for 4, run, RBI) and . JacobC (2 for 2, walk, 3 runs, RBI) led a 13 hit attack. MichaelM went 2 for 3 with a walk, 3 runs, and 3 RBIs, including an inside the park home run.
