Burlington Ball Hockey League
First League Meeting Thurs. Jan 18, 2007
Its that time of the year already.
Please respond to the email regardless if
your team is returning or not. Our
preferred method of communication is email
so if you can let us know either way it is
greatly appreciated. This will also keep us
from making a follow up phone call as well.
If you plan on returning but cannot attend
the meeting please let us know. Our email

The BBHL's first meeting of the year is
scheduled for Thursday January 18, 2007 at
7:00PM in the basement meeting room at Great
Lakes Grille located at 5353 Lakeshore Rd,
Unit #4. Meeting dates will also be posted
on the Message Board and the Registration
page at our web site
www.burlingtonballhockey.com.
The agenda for the meeting will consist of;
League Fees and collection of team
deposits which are now due

So we just got back from our 'D' division Provincials, and I have a few things to say:
First of all, perhaps the most poorly organized tournament I could ever begin to fathom. The refs didn't know the rules (ballhockey/hockey or otherwise) and the guys running the show, were complete tools who wouldn't know what a tournament was if it bitch slapped them in the face.
Back to the refs, we truly hope these guys were either not being paid, or are part of the hummanity for hire program. Slashes, cross checks, punches etc...all went un-noticed...not saying they were all against us, hell we should have had 30 penalties to their 50...case and point, I took a two hander to the arm, and now have a fractured forearm...good job retards!
And a quick note on the teams we played. Perhaps an example of the most classless and unsportsmanly teams I have ever had the pleasure of playing in my 18 years of hockey. Way to go champs!
Anyways, just wanted you all to know, that perhaps one day, someone who has actually played the game will have some hand in organizing the provincial tourney.
Not bashing the BBHL at all, in fact, in light of this recent experience, I would say that the BBHL is very well run, organized, and entirely comprised of a better, and more well rounded staff.

it was a good first season for the boozers, good playoff, good expirience boys, we will be back next season, good luck to the stingers and the heat in the final and in the obhc, nabhc, good series stingers

The Refs pretty much determined the outcome of our series. The refs in this league suck Monkey Balls. However, the refs last night suck Gorilla Balls.

WOMEN'S DIVISION - PLAYOFF GAMES

The final Women's Divions Playoff Schedule
will be posted after Tursday July 29th
games. All series are 1 game knockouts.
The First and Second place teams get first
round byes. We have posted as much as
posible at the moment.
