To all eligible Seniors age NOLL/SOLL players-
We would like to encourage you to participate in the 2013 NOLL/SOLL Seniors program. Commencing just after the conclusion of the high school season, Seniors league play is a way to continue your baseball experience in a short 5-6 week season with All-Stars to follow. Last year we successfully inaugurated interleague play against teams from Albany, Richmond and Pinole. This travel aspect served to keep the league fresh, added increased competition and prepared our players for District All-Star play in July. We are looking to expand our interleague play in 2013 to include teams from Contra Costa County. [A majority of our home games will be at Oakland Tech’s Rick Henderson Field, one of the premier baseball facilities in the area].
In 2013 we will be defending our three consecutive District Championship titles, and look to regain the Sectional Crown we won in 2010 and 2011 on the way to the Regional tournament in San Bernadino.
So please, even if you did not play last year, or may be playing travel ball, keep in mind that playing Seniors League NOLL/SOLL will be a fun, competitive experience, with players you have competed with for years. Please pass this on to all your friends and teammates as we are actively recruiting from all Oakland/Berkeley high school programs.
