Fields for Yankees’ Games:
Bushrod 3 (560 59th St., Oakland) At intersection of Racine and 60th St., near Telegraph. Take Telegraph Ave. to 60th St. Turn left on 60th, go one block to Racine and field entrance.
Coaches (898 Moraga Ave, Piedmont) From Hwy. 13 take Thornhill/Moraga Exit. Take Moraga west down the hill towards Piedmont. Field will be on your right
Reservoir (Sheffield @ E. 29th St., Oakland) From 580 take Fruitvale Exit. Left on Fruitvale Ave. to MacArthur Blvd. Left on MacArthur to Sheffield Ave. Left onto Sheffield. Continue on Sheffield past Redwood Day School to E. 29th. Turn right onto E. 29th. Field is 1/2 block on your right. Walk through fence at "Central Recreation Area".

Hot off the presses- our 1st game is Saturday 3/14, 4:30pm @ Bushrod 3. A complete schedule is posted on our team's website- (www.Sportability.com/spx/Leagues/Team.asp?TmID=149440&LgID=20333) you can even export to Outlook or Ical! I will also post field info on our team's Message Board. Opening Day on 3/7 from 10-11:30am @ Montera School- we'll just participate in the parade and ceremonies. We do NOT have a game or practice 3/7 or 3/8.
Upcoming practices...
- 3/1 10a-12p Robin Perry (assuming no rain)
- 3/6 4-5:30p Robin Perry
- 3/13 Same as 3/6
- Continues every Friday ending 6/12

Rules at Peanuts level:
• Everyone bats each inning (run through the whole order).
• Coach’s discretion in number of pitches a kid gets.
• No one strikes out. (use a tee or grant walks if you need to)
• Batters can get out (forced, fly outs, etc.)
• No official score. No winners or losers. No standings
• No base stealing.
• Parents and coaches ARE allowed in the field.
• All players take the field.
A few weeks into the season we recommend instituting a new practice of ‘clearing the bases’ after 3 outs. This focuses the kids on the number of outs. Note, that you clear the bases, but batting team continues until all players have been at the plate.
- Games will last 3-4 Innings or 2 Hours depending on how things are progressing

Practice Schedule…
a. We will ALWAYS practice at Robin Perry Field
b. Location: 3400 Joaquin Miller Rd., Oakland. From Hwy. 13 take Joaquin Miller Rd. Exit. Turn left onto Joaquin Miller Rd. and continue up the hill to Crane Way. Field is on your left at Crane Way
c. Friday’s 2/27 + 3/6 from 4p-5p
d. Friday’s 3/13 through Season End from 4p-5:30p
e. Sunday 3/1 from 10a-12p, then games will be played on the weekends only- no practices.
f. Please ensure you drop off and pick up your children on time- they should dress comfortably- no uniforms- and bring a baseball glove.
