Description
WCYAA is dedicated to the idea that children are a community's most important asset. Emphasis is placed on teaching good sportsmanship, team concepts, and development of the individual child's skills and character. Registration is open to all girls and boys without regard to city residence. Age is determined as of December 1, 2022. TEAMS: Teams will be based on residence and/or school attended when possible. THERE ARE NO TEAM PLACEMENT GUARANTEES OF ANY KIND. SEASON: The season will begin on Saturday, December 3, 2022 and will end on Saturday, February 11, 2023. GAMES: All games will be played Saturdays at Foothill Community Gym at Foothill Middle School located at 2775 Cedro Lane, Walnut Creek. PRACTICE: Practice will be held immediately prior to each game. (No additional practices are permitted) PLAYING TIME: Each player shall play at least three (3) full quarters of each game. (One-half of every game.) UNIFORMS: WCYAA will supply a uniform jersey, which shall be worn during all games. The players may keep the jersey. PARTICIPATION AWARD: Each player receives a participant award at the end of the season. SPONSORS: Businesses and individuals are needed to sponsor teams. Sponsor fees are $295.00. Sponsors receive an appreciation plaque, listing on Sponsor page of website and may designate the team on which their child will play on.
