ABSC is working to establish safety protocols for when we can reopen. NOTE: You have the choice to make a non-refundable $50 deposit only at registration by selecting FLEXI PAY and your balance will be charged to your card on 9/1/2020 Please know that the deposit covers player insurance and league registration and insurance costs only. ABSC absorbs all other administrative costs until we can be sure that the season can go ahead. In our Under-6 program your player is assigned a team. They work on developing foot skills, coordination, dribbling, passing, defending, shooting, throw-ins, speed and agility. Our players also learn teamwork and sportsmanship. ABSC is dedicated to the health and well-being of our players. At this age we have a strict no header policy and we begin each practice with the FIFA-11+ warm-up to reduce injury. *Program Details* -Weekend program (practice/games) run by Lead Trainer and staff (NO weekday practice) -6-8 players per team -2 parent volunteer coaches-in-training and a team manager (volunteers get their volunteer deposit back) -Games can be Saturdays or Sundays or mixed (team of Sunday ONLY games available with enough interest) -Location: local Albany/Berkeley Fields -90 mins each week: 30 minute trainer run practice with help from volunteer coaches-in-training -Arrive to be on the field and ready to play at the time on your schedule -4v4 micro games (four 8 minute quarters with 5 minute breaks, no goalie) -Trainer referees while volunteer coaches-in-training help with substitutions and manage equipment -Opening Day orientation with new parent meeting, uniform pickup & free used gear table, Team Manager meeting and coaches' clinic (March 21st, 2020) |
