Description
The Greenville County Recreation District and Greater Greenville Hockey Association would like to announce it's first ever Spring Youth Hockey Developmental League for kids ages 4-10 with previous hockey experience. The dates of the season are April 6th - May 25th. Games will be played on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm and 7:45pm and the season will run for 8 weeks. The cost for 8 full ice games will be $75 ($60 in-district). Games will have three 14 minute periods with a stopped clock every 2 minutes for line changes. All teams will have a coach and games will include a referee and a scorekeeper. Loaner jerseys will be provided for each game at no cost. Basic Hockey rules will be taught to the players such as offsides, faceoffs, positioning, penalties, etc. Registration is limited to players born in years 2000-2006. The Registration Deadline is Saturday, April 2nd, 2011.
