Behind JordanR and JordanB's solid pitching, the White Sox edged out the tough Royals, 6-5, in the Sox's third come-from-behind win this year. JamalH contributed two hits, and playing catcher, picked off a runner at third which initiated an exciting 2-1-5-4 double-play. Sam Douglas solid defensive game in center field helped keep the Royals at bay, and behind 5-4 in the bottom of the 5th, GabeF knocked in the tying run; then in in an improbable mad dash scored from second on a sacrifice fly to center field to score the winning run. |
