Team Summaries | Pelicans Notes: With an unusual midweek gametime, the Pels and Rox both started off a bit slowly before this game settled in to a rhythm. Bulldog went 5+ before his pitch count caught up with him; Killer Kyle (sans undershirt) closed the door. Pels defense was led by nobody and yet, by everybody. Feelgood notched an outfield assist on a 9-1-2 DP at the plate; Killer Kyle and Stripes worked their magic up the middle, Pop Tart turned a loose ball into an out at second base, even (borrowed) Iron Horse made a phenomenal diving catch of a ball in center. Just another day at the office for the all-hustle Pels D. Rockies Notes: |
