Game Summary The Yankees came back from a 2-0 deficit on their way to an extra-inning win. Truman Purnell’s solid single to right scored Ted Shryock and Anthony Cozart in the fifth to tie the score. In the top of the seventh, Eric Selvin led off with a single and scored the winning run behind Travis Pillon’s line drive hit to right center. Cameron Corwin pitched two solid, shutout innings. Pillon pitched the next three innings holding the Orioles to two runs. Matt Balich came on in the bottom of the sixth and seventh notching five Ks to seal the win. Orioles highlights included Eddie Hill pitching six complete innings and striking out 10 Yankees, Evan Wiener's full horizontal catch of a fly ball in center field, and Evan Thomas going 2-for-2 at the plate, driving in a run.
