Game Summary | With the bases empty and two outs in the bottom of the sixth, the Royals’ Ben H stepped up and stroked his first Majors home run to tie a close-fought game at 6-6. After that, the next three batters reached base and the Royals eked out a win. The Giants’ Brandon C struck out six Royals in four innings and stroked a homer of his own, a two-run shot, in the fifth inning to put the Giants ahead. Joe M, Max P and Ben H each had two hits for the Royals. |
