Game Summary | Yankees’ ace Matt B was dominating, as he surrendered only two hits – a double by the Royals’ Joe M and an infield single by John V. Matt B also struck out 14 Royals, including all three in the first and fifth innings. The Yankees scored three times in the first, taking advantage of four errors and powered by timely hit from Cam Corwin. Eric S, Powell F and Truman P also hit well. Royals Nick W pitched bravely, allowing only one earned run while striking out five Yankees and surrendering but one intentional walk. |
