Game Summary | The Yankees scored five in the top of the first to cruise to a win. Powell F pitched five shutout innings, striking out six while giving up only three hits and one walk and he helped his own cause with three solid hits including two doubles and two runs scored. Travis P and Gabe S also hit well for the Bronx bombers. The Yankee defensive MVP was centerfielder Ryan K made two outstanding running catches. The Orioles’ Nate H pitched five strong innings in relief notching eight strikeouts. Max K and Luke W had hits for the Orioles. |
