| Game Summary |
Through five innings, the Giants built a four-run lead behind the solid pitching of Brandon C who allowed just four singles while striking out four. Brandon C also doubled home two apparent “insurance” runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. Other Giants with hits incuded Ben K, Ryan N and Mikhail G. But in the top of the sixth, the Royals sent 13 men to the plate and scored all eight of their runs. Highlights of the inning included five stolen bases, an RBI double by Ryan M, and clutch RBI singles by both Max P and Nick W. Nick W also pitched four strong innings, striking out six Giants batters. Andy C got the win for two innings of relief work, striking out three.
