| Game Summary | The Royals relied on solid pitching from Nick W, who went five full innings before giving way to Andy C in the final frame. Ben H had a big hit for the Royals, and William C drove in an insurance run late in the game. The White Sox second baseman Francis G made a sparkling catch of a blooper to snuff a Royals rally in the third, and Scott S kept the game close in the sixth with another nice infield play. | ||
