| Game Summary | River Cats 3 Astros 4 Galen E. scored on Harold T's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 4th to give the Astros closer, Peter B. just enough breathing room to seal a 4-3 win over a tough River Cats team. The game was close the entire contest and could have easily gone either way. Devin K. and Evan W. both put up textbook performances on the mound for the River Cats. Stan R. had a couple of line shots jump off his bat and the ever-dangerous Devin K. added two crisp hits to lead the River Cats offense. Peter B., Daramani S., Galen E. and Christian K. had timely hits for the Astros. Jack H. added two hits and pegged a stealing River Cat base runner at second in the bottom of the 6th for a key defensive out. River Cats catcher, Evan W. also nailed a stealing Astros runner at second during the game. Pete S. and Daramani S. both pitched two impressive innings in sharing the pitching chores with Peter B. for the Astros. |
