Game Summary | Monarchs 13 Diamondbacks 7 It was deja-vu all over again as speedy Monarchs David B. and Alex R. reached base and Hammering Phil H. knocked them home to make it 2-0 in the first. The D-Backs threatened repeatedly with Connor S. and Dante H. running the bases well. The Monarchs won the game when third baseman Cooper H. made the tag after gathering a strong throw from catcher Peter W. The D'backs were bolstered by the strong relief pitching of Austin B., who racked up three k's in just two innings of work. The D'backs biggest offensive punch came in the 3rd inning off back to back doubles by Nathan M. and Connor S. and a sacrifice at-bat by Dante H., which resulted in three runs. |
