| Game Summary | The Osprey opened their season on the road with a rousing 20-6 victory over the Islanders. The Osprey jumped out to a 5-0 lead with RBI's by Jonathan B, James P and Chris O. Max S started on the mound pitching 3 innings, recording 6 strikeouts and holding the Islanders to one run . Chris L added a 2 Run HR in the 3rd. Josh N came on in relief for the Osprey, pitching 2 innings, allowing 4 runs and striking out 3. The Islander rally was stopped short by a key double play, a pop fly out caught by Isaac P who threw to Darren J at the plate to tag out the runner trying to score from 3rd. |
