| Team Summaries | Hamilton Huskies Notes: Hamilton surprised the Firebirds with a 2-0 first quarter lead. That would be the last time the Huskies would have the advantage. Chaparral quickly regained their offensive stride in the second and third periods scoring 11 unanswered goals. One of which was a 'team score' after a fumbled Huskie save by the goalie. In the fouth period Hamilton found their 'heart' and punched in 6 consecutive goals. A 'too little, too late' effort, an experience that the Huskies had against Saguaro earlier in the season. The game was a hard fought contest even with the score quite lopsided for most of the game. Both teams were aggressive and physical resulting in only 6 total penalties in the game (Hamilton-2, Chaparral-4). A highlight for the Huskies was the face off 'X', where they had a slight advantage at the mid-line battle. The Firebirds were lead by the attack trio of McAbee(3-4), Stroupe(2-3), and Gray(5-0).
