| Team Summaries | Desert Vista Thunder Notes: This one started off as a lopsided affair though not in the way the final score indicates. The Hawks came out firing, scoring three goals before the Thunder knew what hit them. Outstanding face-off work by the Highland middies proved to be the difference in the first quarter of this one. Midway through the first however, the sleeping giant awoke and the Thunder started to roll.With the Thunder attackmen feeling 'under the weather' it would be up to the middies to get this one done. Middies Gray Morrison and David Ganz tallied five goals a piece and combined for a dozen ground balls. Middie Alex Foley popped in two goals while attackmen Cody Wood and Austin Clark combined for four goals and eleven assists. YES...Austin had more assists than goals in this one. Junior attackman Mike 'Monster' Mullarkey scored two goals in his best performance to date. Dan Yager came in late in the game to score four goals while up and coming sophmore Frankie 'the fetus' Connell tallied the first points of his Varsity career with three assists.
