Team Summaries	Enumclaw Notes: No notes Issaquah Notes: Issaquah 4-2-2-3- 11 Enumclaw 2-2-0-1- 5 Rain held off allowing for perfect evening in a beautiful setting to start the 2023 season. If you haven’t had the opportunity to play or watch an event at Pete’s Pool Stadium you are missing out as it’s a Top 5 setting for lacrosse in Washington. Issaquah got things started, yet despite the 2-0 lead was actually struggling to unlock the Hornet’s zone defense. Enumclaw’s shooters came ready and as soon as they had opportunity they started ripping net. Issaquah struggled on the defensive end to handle the Hornet’s open set. Issaquah finally settled into some zone offense but Enumclaw kept Enumclaw kept firing as well keeping it a two goal game at half. Defensive adjustments at halftime proved the difference for Issaquah as a shutout quarter allowed them to separate. Issaquah also took advantage of a few man-up opportunities to seal the deal. Hats off to Hornets, a solid physical team with shooters that will be a tough out come 2A playoffs. They’ve got a good thing going in the ‘Claw.
