Monarchs (McAlear) Notes:
Kavan and Jake combined on a no-hitter, striking out 13, as the McAlear Monarchs won their season opener 13-0 over the McLean Grays.

The Grays reached base eight times—three by error, five by walk—but the Monarchs' pitchers stranded all the baserunners. Teo slammed two doubles for the Monarchs, driving in two runs. Kavan, Jake and Taz each also had two RBI as part of the team's balanced attack.
