Monarchs Notes:
Moose led the defense with an inning on the mound and big innings behind the dish! He opened the game by doing the dirty work in a pitcher-covers play started by Clyde. Later, Whispers made two fine plays at second base. Pockets closed things out by throwing strikes and trusting the defense in the 6th!

The Monarchs did most of their offensive damage in the 4th with Elmer, Clyde and MapleFlip each knocking in 2 runs with timely hits. Bubblegum beat out an infield single and a couple Monarchs wore bruises proudly to get to first base.
