| Team Summaries | Giants Notes: The Giants made the most of their base runners with several multi-run key hits. Caleb slapped a 2-out single to CF to drive in 2 runs in the first. Jonny smashed a bases loaded ground rule double to dead center in the second. Miles followed with a whizzing single up the middle to drive in 2 more. Miles also hit a 2-run 199-foot blast to LF in the 4th. Lucas went oppo with a hard line drive to RF to knock in a couple more in the 5th. Javi found a new way to get on base with each PA — single, walk, fielders choice, throwing error — and managed to score on all 4. Overcoming season-long mound jitters, Christian became the 12th Giants player to pitch this season. The steady righty showed a lot of mental toughness as he ate up 1 2/3 innings, walking 2 and striking out 3 to keep the Giants lead safe. The Sea Lions’ Angelo B joined the 8 uniformed Giants as a replacement pool player. He contributed with a single, a couple of walks and runs scored, and just being an all around awesome teammate. Thank you, Angelo! The Giants are coming together as a team and hitting their stride at the right time.
