Giants Notes:
The Giants and Sea Lions had some free baseball at the end with the game tied 7-7 after 6. In extra innings, with the Giants infield and outfield both in, the Sea Lions hit a bases loaded popup that had an eye of its own, dropping inches from the Giants’ left fielder’s glove for the walk-off.

Javi took the start for the Giants and Nate made his first appearance of the season on the mound. Both pitched well, but the Sea Lions‘ bats were hot. Down 7-0 after 4, the Giants offense exploded in the 5th scoring 6 runs. They added one more in the 6th to tie the game. Miles and Jon took over as pitchers to hold the Sea Lions offensive attack scoreless in the 5th and 6th.

But the Giants stranded 2 in the 7th and went scoreless, leaving the door open for the Sea Lions who capitalized on a bases loaded popup to win the game.

Nate drilled 2 to the OF that were caught, Jonny had a multi-hit game, Dylan Owen and Christian connected for hits, and Owen advanced two runners via bunt. Eddie shagged a liner to RF, and Henry and Javi were inches from turning a beautiful double play in the 7th. Overall a great game.
