| Team Summaries | Giants Notes: Nate came off the DL and played his first game of the season, scoring a run and recording a putout at 1B. Welcome back, Nate! Owen and Lucas flashed their glove at SS, scooping up hard hit grounders and cleanly making the routine assists. On the mound, Javi, Lucas, Jon and Miles combined for one run allowed on 15 strikeouts and two walks. Javi overcame a first inning missing belt crisis and led the charge as the starting pitcher with two shutout innings. Lucas followed with two zeros of his own, helping himself with a nifty sliding catch on an IF popup down the line. Jon and Miles closed things out, combining for five strikeouts in the last two innings. Offensively, the Giants showed good discipline in the batter's box; nine of 10 players reached base with either hits or walks, and eight different Giants scored a run.
