| Team Summaries | Issaquah Notes: Sunset 2-2-2-3-9 Issaquah 4-1-4-2- 12 Second ever meeting with the Apollos and Issaquah started strong, truly controlling the 1st quarter. After some early lapses, Sunset was keen on some defensive changes and threw a wrench in Issaquah's control quickly erasing an early 3 goal deficit. But, KJ Lewis' timely faceoff win and fastbreak to set up TJ Victory put Issaquah back ahead just before half, a lead they would never relinquish. Sloppy play in the 3rd quarter but Issaquah made the most of chances and TJ Victory score 4 straight in the quarter to push Issaquah to a 10-6 advantage. Sunset just wouldn't go away and cut it to 10-9 before Issaquah caught a few lucky breaks to extend the advantage at the end. Another solid game from Cale Gunter at the faceoff X and the big night from Victory proved to be the difference. Sunset (OR) Notes: |
