Another beautiful day and another great setting for a lacrosse game. Third game in 3 days, above average temps and first time in program history playing at 10 AM posed multiple challenges for Issaquah and though a struggle at times, turned into a great ball game.

Two first-half goals from Rafael Bloch and some big saves from freshman, Nate Kaiser kept Issaquah in it and tied at half.

Three minutes into the second half the Knights from North Penn jumped to a two goal lead and Issaquah seemed dead. Eagles held for the next 5 minutes, time enough to gain a second wind and unleash KJ Lewis. Back to back goals in less than a minute had the game tied before Michael Hyde stung net with under a minute to play in the period to give Issaquah its first lead!

Issaquah rode the momentum into the 4th with pipe down rocket from Cale Gunter and another finish from Lewis. The five unanswered goals swung Issaquah from down two with under 4 minutes in the 3rd quarter to up three with 9 minutes to play in the game!

North Penn finally snapped the string and got one back at the 7 minute mark, but Gunter immediately won the next faceoff and pushed to Victory whom stung top shelf as well to grab the momentum right back.

After a North Penn possession, Issaquah came up with a big stop, and clear that led to another fastbreak that looked to lock up the game, but a mishandle sent the ball back the other way and North Penn capitalized, once again cutting to a two goal margin. Cue momentum shift as the Knights now had Issaquah on its heels, scoring another at the 4:30 mark to make it a one goal game.

Multiple miscues inside the last 4 minutes from Issaquah gave North Penn multiple chances but Nate Kaiser stood tall and Issaquah got the final clear it needed and was able to run out the last 30 seconds of clock to secure the program's first win on the east coast.
