Another great Friday night under the lights in this rivalry with a nearly identical vibe to last year's match-up that closed the season for both clubs.

Issaquah continues to battle to the end but unfortunately came out on the down side for the fourth straight outing.

Taking advantage of a few potential non-calls early, Issaquah got out early. TJ Victory got it started on a solo spin from X. Tyler Morton handled some tough pressure to slip to the middle and find Rafael Bloch on the back pipe to go up 2-0. Michael Hyde capped the quarter with a beautiful frontside finish off a feed from KJ Lewis.

A Skyline stick penalty to start the 2nd quarter led to two man-up goals and Issaquah found itself with a 5-0 lead. The expected momentum shift came as Skyline began finding the net. Issaquah failed to clear multiple times, allowing the Spartans multiple possessions to continue their run. A big stop to close the half kept Issaquah up 1.

Another man-up goal from Bloch and a huge goal from Ryan Arnold had Issaquah up two again in the 3rd quarter but another run saw Skyline bring it back and game went into the 4th tied at 9.

Teams traded goals to level at 10. The final big momentum swing came on a huge strip from Carter King. He pushed the break and Joe Vermeulen capped his hat-trick at the doorstep. Spartan's kept a one goal advantage inside two minutes, when Issaquah took a penalty. Rather than let Skyline bleed clock, Issaquah tried to shut, but Marcus Ball beat one defender and finished on the empty net to provide the final margin.
