A great ball game between two solid teams. The only thing that sucked about this one was that it wasn't on a Friday night.

After good possessions on both ends and solid stops by both defenses, Bellevue broke the ice about 4 minutes in. Issaquah responded with a huge goal from freshman, Tyler Morton after some great ball movement. In similar fashion, more good movement ended with an Arnold to Gunter tally to put Issaquah up 2-1 and the quarter would finish the same.

Huge defensive battle in the 2nd quarter. Issaquah could not take advantage of multiple man-up opportunities and Bellevue tied it up before half, though Issaquah entered the half again, man-up.

This time Issaquah took advantage on Rafael Bloch's man-up tally. Bloch followed with another son after from Gunter. Bellevue responded, but a huge goal from Michael Hyde pushed the lead back to two to close the period. Both squads saved the true fireworks for the 4th quarter though as the 8 combined goals through 3 quarters was soon to be eclipsed.

Issaquah struck first. With Bellevue pressing out, TJ Victory ran by the pressure himself, curling from X and tallying his first of the night to give Issaquah its largest lead of the night at 6-3. Far from finished the Wolverines took advantage of a man-up tally and quickly followed with a fastbreak from the faceoff to close to 6-5. A big counterpunch from Issaquah getting one right back on the ensuing faceoff, sparked by KJ Lewis. But it did little to stifle Bellevue's momentum. Man-Up again, Bellevue closed to 7-6 and finally seemed to be taking control of the faceoffs. Two more faceoff possessions led to tow more goals and Bellevue had recovered, taken the lead and had Issaquah on its heels with under 4 minutes to play.

TJ Victory stepped again, this time initiating up top and finding KJ Lewis to tie it with 3 minutes. Both teams had chances inside the final 3 but both defenses came up big. Jordan Snoey made a huge save inside the last minute to give Issaquah one last chance in regulation but not much of a look inside the final 10 seconds... on to Overtime.

Overtime was short lived. After time to catch his breath, Cale Gunter got back to winning a faceoff, this time he pushed, drew and found TJ Victory for the game winning rip from the point - ball game!
