| Team Summaries | Astros Notes: Geo took the hill for the Astros and was masterful, stranding baserunners and throwing strikes and the Astros played solid defense in his support. The Astros threw out 5 runners on the basepaths to keep Twin rallys from erupting full scale…on the classic 1st and 3rd play, SS DK took the throw and fired back to catcher Spencer who applied the tag in the nick of time. Spencer later picked off a runner at third who wandered a bit too far off the base. DK took the hill in the 5th and tossed 3 shut out innings to close the deal (and get the save!) for the ‘Stros. Slugger Bryce delivered the big blast with a double to the wall at Witter. Twin hurler Jeremy was tough, tossing a complete game that did not include a walk. Twins Notes: |
