Team Summaries | Rockies Notes: The Mariners started out strong catching the Rockies off-guard and scoring 4 in the top of the 1st. The Rockies responded quickly with a 6-run first inning of their own highlighted by a Mike W. homerun and a 2-out 3-run double by Tynan D. The Rockies continued to play their brand of baseball for the next 5 innings. Leading 15-4 the Rockies received a scare after a 7th inning breakdown (combined with timely Mariner hitting)allowed the Mariners to score 7 and the game ended with the tying run at the plate. The Rockies offense was a true team effort led by Mike W, Tyanan D, Scott B, Sean B, Luke N and of course the big hitting Max B. The Rockies look forward to the league-leading Astros.
