A definite game of ebbs and flows and unfortunately for Issaquah, despite a hot start, too little too late in the end as Juanita's ball pressure and timely possession won out.

Issaquah came out fired up and led 2-0 before two minutes had passed as Jared Humenny found net himself before assisting Jack Richards on the 2nd. Max Dahlquist made it 3-0 and Issaquah seemed in full control but a good timeout from Juanita allowed the Rebels to regoup and they broke the ice before the end of the period. They carried the momentum into the 2nd and had tied the game with 7:34 to play. Issaquah responded right off the faceoff though as Gunter found Richards for his 2nd of the night. Juanita would tie it up again a minute later, before Issaquah again had the answer.

The game took a huge momentum turn inside the last two minutes of the half. Juanita tied it and on the ensuing faceoff the Rebels won possession but Issaquah had them tied up and in trouble. The Rebels called a timeout they didn't have. The refs considered the mistake on them and allowed Juanita to keep the ball- Rebels capitalized and scored with just 7 seconds left to take a lead into half.

Issaquah came into the 3rd quarter deflated and it showed, letting Juanita rattle off 3 straight in the first half of the quarter. The Rebels had gone from dwon 3-0 to up 9-5! The quarter closed in a frantic sloppy mess of up and down and penalties.

Issaquah's turn to dig down and respond. Aided by a penalty, Colby Andersen finished the man-up chance to get oen back. With 5 minutes to play Dahlquist scored his second of the night to cut the lead to two. From there Juanita smartly possessed. Issaquah doubled inside two minutes, won the ball and had a golden opportunity at the other end to cut the lead to one, but blew a doorstep chance.
