Wahoos Notes:
The Dragons’ hard-hitting offense was met by loose defense and base-running on the part of the Wahoos, and the upshot was a ten-run loss. Still, there were some highlights – some good hitting, some nice pitching, and some funny-funky plays. Ollie pitched a fine inning, helped out by two heads-up defensive plays: Maxie in center-field throwing to Etienne to get out a baserunner at 2nd, and Harlan in left-field running to 3rd base ahead of the runner. Lucas caught some key fly balls at shortstop, and Isaac as catcher threw out a Dragons runner at 3rd. On the offense side of things, the Wahoos strung together a few nice rallies, powered by hits from Austin (a double), Ben (a sizzling shot down the line at 3rd), Harlan (a double), Kobe (a sac fly) and Zack.
