Rubber Ducks Notes:
Second game of the weekend for the Ducks started of a bit slow. Matteo came around to score after being HBP and stealing 2 bases and then scored on an RBI single by Logan. The Marauders came back with 2 in the bottom of the 1st after Logan walked the first batter and then hit the second batter, they stole their way to 2 runs. He settled down and struck out the side. Tucker lead of the 2nd with a single, stole 2 bases and scored on Teo's SAC groundball to the pitcher. Logan came back out for the 2nd inning and much like the 1st started off a little rough. He hit the first batter and gave up an RBI single. The 3rd inning the Ducks scored 2. Bottom of the 3rd Teo was on the mound, he walked the first 3 batters. The bases were loaded with no outs and the Marauder hitter hit a line shot to 3B where Gabriel made the great catch and was able to also get the force out at 3B for the double play. Then Teo was able to strike out the final batter of the inning. The Ducks were able to take advantage of the Marauders pitcher in the 4th bringing across 5 runs to take a 9-8 lead. The Ducks added 2 more runs in the 5th and 1 more in the 6th. Devin was able to shutout the Marauders in the 5th and 6th inning preserving the win for the Ducks!
