| Team Summaries | Sand Gnats Notes: The AAA season began with a battle of the insects at the Bay Area's best field - Back Caldecott. After Roman H (Gnats) and Aidan D (Bees) quickly retired the opposing side in the first inning, the Gnats plated 5 in both the second and third to open up a lead. Seiyuan L's line drive single in the second scored two and Ian M's double to deep center in the third brought home another pair. The Bees stormed back to score 4 in the top of the fourth. Shaun M's full count bases loaded shot off the right field wall in the fifth concluded the scoring for the day. Game ball to Nolan M for his 3-3 day at the plate and four-pitch third inning performance. Special thanks to Ben M umpiring the bases. A bunch of close calls, all made properly.
