| Team Summaries | Rockhounds Notes: Jayson came out and stuck out all three Storm batters in the first inning. Ishaan lead of with a walk and stole 3 bases to give the Rockhounds a 1 run lead. Isaac hit a good shot down the third base line but forced Noah H. out at 3B to end the inning. Jayson gave up a long triple to RF in the top of the second who later scored on a passed ball. He then stuck out the next three batters. Bottom of the second was highlighted by Jayson's RBI double as the Rockhounds put up 5 runs to take a 6-1 lead. Wade pitched the 3rd inning and got two quick outs but was unable to get the elusive 3rd out to end the inning as the Storm got 5 runs to make it 6-6. The Rockhounds battle back with 5 runs in the bottom of the 3rd to take the lead back 11-6. Mikael pitched the final 2 innings to finish of the victory. Giann was awarded the game ball for a very good game behind home plate and great plate discipline. Storm Notes: |
